This weekend Jason was released from hospital!! It was nice to get him back home! Sat afternoon Mom, Monica, Jonny and I loaded up the car and headed to Elk Horn. Penny (his dog) was so excited to see him!!
We got the house "wheelchair" proof and rearranged some things and got everyone settled for a few days anyway. He will return to the hospital on Wednesday and have surgery on both feet. He will be back in the hospital for another 3-4 days and then home with the pens in his feet for 6 weeks! Basically can not walk for 8-10 weeks and full recovery of 4 months!!!!
We appreciate everyone's thoughts/prayers as he goes through this. Its alot and I know he would love to hear from anyone!!!
Sonja and Mike were gracious enough and found a hospital bed for him to sleep in for the next 2-3 months which will help him keep his feet elevated and comfortable.
Please pray the surgery on Wednesday goes well and we'll be at Methodist all week!!!

wow... poor guy! Keep us posted on the surgery... we hope all goes well! He's got a great little nurse (Shar) so I am sure he will do well! :) - thinking of you all!
