Sat morning, Mom and Monica came over to my house and we decorated Easter Eggs "Martha Stewart style"! We had bought tons of different types of tissues and napkins did the eggs with Modge Podge! It was alot of work but very fun! We did almost 40 eggs and split them so we all could decorate our center pieces for Easter with them! Super cute! I did a Easter tree as well and waiting to get some real moss to put around the bass of my tree.
Sat afternoon we went to Homemakers as both mom and Monica are on the hunt for couches! Mom wants new for her family room and Monica sold her couches on Craig's List so time for new :) I think they both found some they like so that was great! Sat night we had a family friend's birthday party in Urbandale. It happens to be my Realtor's grandma too! Small world :) It was fun! Mom came back to my house and we watched movies and relaxed!
Sunday we got up and ran some errands/shopped and then met a family friend, Rae, for lunch at Gateway Market at Village of Ponderosa! It was fun to see her and catch up. Then we had a 2:30 appointment for "massages" at Spa at West Glen! It was mom's first time but she LOVED it :) Monica and I love them and swear by them! We all were limp noodles when it was over :) SOOO GLAD we did that! Here are a few pics of us in our robes hanging out having some wine! Next time we'll add pedi's or manicure's when we go too! So fun!
Jonny had some guy time and got to hang out around the house, get some stuff listed on Craig's List to sell (don't want to haul all this stuff when we move) and he went fishing today with Tony over by Panora! NO fish though :( I was hoping we would have some good fresh fish for supper tonight! But instead he "smoked" a pork loin! Thank goodness Jonny is a great cook and LOVES to cook!
