Thursday the guys went pheasant hunting while us girls got the house ready. Thursday night we had all the family over including my niece Paige from Omaha cousins in Harlan and aunt/uncle. The guys had a great time playing cards all night. It was a great time and always nice to see and spend time with family!
Friday we got up and cut down some trees for firewood! I didn't get any pictures from that but was alot of fun and a good workout!
Friday night we headed back to Des Moines as we were having Jonny's family over Sat night for Thanksgiving. Jonny did an awesome job with the turkey....thank god i found a man that LOVES and is AWESOME at cooking :) It was great to have all of his family over and hang out.
Sunday we got caught up around the house, I did some Christmas shopping and got ready for another busy week! Sunday night we had Thanksgiving with Jonny's dad and Val, Matt, Arika, and Savannah at El Rodeo. Was great to see them as had almost been a year!!! We are planning to get together again around Christmas time!
Christmas will be here before we know it and I can't wait....i LOVE the holidays! Our house has been decorated for a week now and I love coming home to it all and the fireplace :)
WE GOT SOME GREAT NEWS TODAY!!!! My brother gets his pins out of his feet and has his final surgery on Dec. 10th. Our family is so excited and he is very excited to start walking again...hopefully by January he'll be using crutches again. He will have boots (temp casts basically)!!! Thanks for all your thoughts/prayers during the last 3 months!!!
