Easter Weekend

This weekend was filled with family and fun! Sat morning Jonny got up at 5 am to go "turkey scouting" with some friends. I think he had a great time getting back to his favorite element...."the outdoors" ;) Sat night my mom, my niece Paige and Roni came to DM for Easter. Sat night we hung out at our house and I had made glazed meatballs and some dips for supper and we colored Eggs :) Now, most people would think this was a thing for "younger kids" but this was all my idea as I wanted to incorporate them into my centerpiece for Easter!! It was so much fun and even Jonny did an egg or two and all had fun being creative. Sunday we got up and went to Easter service at my church Lutheran Church of Hope in WDM. What a great service and even though we got there an hour early we still had to part about 2 blocks away and stand in line to get in the door....was amazing but a beautiful service. Mom and Roni and Paige really enjoyed our church and the service. Then we came back to our house where we had pork chops (thanks mom for making those...they are my favorite) Overall it was a wonderful weekend and was so glad we got to spend time with Roni and Paige and we missed Jason (he has been down with a terrible cold) and Monica and Adam (they were in TX for Easter). Hopefully we all can be together next year. Enjoy the pics!
