Happy Easter

This past weekend we celebrated Easter in Elk Horn. Thursday night my mom and brother came town to watch "The Last Supper" at Waukee United Methodist Church. My uncle performs it and has for 12 years. It was so fun to see him and was a great performance. They stayed the night and went shopping and ran errands on Friday while we worked.

We headed back to EH on Sat morning and the guys cut down a HUGE tree..they love being outdoors and being "lumber-jacks" ha ha.

We made the CUTEST aprons! Mom had this awesome pattern so here is the 2 aprons we made! they turned out so cute! if anyone is interested in making one, let me know....They are so cheap and take about 30 minutes!

Sunday morning we got up and went to church and then had a wonderful lunch. We had ham and cheesey potatoes, cauliflower/cheese and Monica made an awesome strawberry and custard cake for dessert.

We took off and met Jonny's dad and Val in St Charles to grill some burgers and hang out. They have around 37 acres of land and have this cute mobile home and huge deck built off it. What a fun weekend.
